Combustion path and heat profile:

How our technology reduces energy consumption

OUR TECHNOLOGY

HZZK Technology achieves efficiencies through offering almost complete fuel combustion.

The directional zig-zag controlled air turbulence, creates higher temperatures, which increases fuel combustion efficiency and decreases fuel consumption.

The fire moves through stationary bricks set in a zig-zag fashion creating critical air turbulence allowing for: even heat distribution; maximum heat generation and maximum energy extraction from the fuel source.

The firing process is accelerated by creating air flow and turbulence (draught) through the use of a fan.

Control valves and dampers, are used in conjunction with the fan, resulting in increased directional air turbulence and highly efficient fuel combustion with minimal emissions.

MORE ABOUT US

Understanding our efficient firing and heat recovery process

OUR TECHNOLOGY

Heat from fired bricks, is reclaimed from behind the fire zone and moved forward ahead of the fire zone accelerating the drying of green bricks and facilitating faster fire progress. This is clean dry heat and eliminates scum.

The zig-zag partitioned walls are themselves made of green bricks, which when fired also become saleable product. Significantly less masonry is heated during the firing process and therefor increases the speed of the firing zone, meaning the kiln requires a smaller footprint for its output.
